TV/Film: Recent scores include a documentary about the Abraaj Group – ‘Billion Dollar Downfall: The Dealmaker’ (BBC), ‘Nazi Hunters: ‘The Real Walk-In’ (ITV) and ‘Paxman: Putting up with Parkinson’s’ (ITV). ‘Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War‘ – a feature film with a score by Edmund, continues to be shown in cinemas all over the UK. He is currently writing music for the next series of ‘Grand Designs: The Street’, an independent film ‘Friday Night Shidduch’ and a new dramatisation of Kate Bucknell’s book starring Simon Callow ‘The Flynn Guarneri’. Series 2 of ‘Sort Your Life Out’ with music by Edmund, recently started airing on BBC 1.
Concert: Recently ‘Wessobrunn Prayer’ was awarded the Jack & Anne Barnard Second Prize of the Institute for Choral Creativity’s 3rd Annual Composition (from 235 entries). ‘There is no Rose’ won the Kantos Chamber Choir Carol Competition in December 2022. An album of his solo piano music is being recorded in Copenhagen in February 2023. A new series of solo marimba pieces will shortly be published by Edition Svitzer. He recently had five pieces selected for performance by the South Carolina Music Educators Association.
Library: De Wolfe have released his eighth production music album for them: ‘Lives in History’. His track ‘Believe in Me’ (Juice/APM) has now been streamed over 1.8 million times on Spotify. This piece and others by Edmund were widely used over footage broadcast during the mourning period for the Queen.
