Edmund recently won 3rd Prize in the Progressive Classical Music Award. Selected from 344 entries, his piece ‘Dreaming Figurines’ was premiered by the Twiolins and will be recorded by them next year.
‘Music’ has been announced as the winner (from 100 entries) of the 2019 Freudig Singers Choral Composition Competition, USA, 2019.
Current TV work includes ‘A Tudor Christmas’ presented by Lucy Worsley, ‘Ed Balls in Euroland’ (BBC), the latest series of ‘Unreported World’ (C4) and a new cookery show ‘Crazy Delicious’ (coproduction with Netflix and C4). A new library music album for piano and strings has recently been released by Sony.
On the concert front, OUP’s collection of secular flexible pieces has just been published. This contains a piece ‘Spring’ by Edmund commissioned for the publication. He is currently working on a commission for the Animo Duo. Banks music have recently published his ‘Sleep, my little Jesus’. ‘The Mighty Chieftain Comes’ remains on the Grade 1 double-bass syllabus for Trinity.
